Lake Llaca

Departure to the east side of the city of Huaraz, by private bus along the affirmed road to the Llaca refuge located at 4474 m above sea level. Within the Quebrada Llaca which is surrounded by some impressive peaks such as the snowy Ranrapalca (6162 m), Ocshapalca (5881 m), Vallunaraju (5686 m). Once we arrive at the Llaca refuge, we will hike around the Llaca lagoon. Where we can appreciate the retreating glacier and an impressive Andean landscape with queñual and ichus forests. This short walk is appropriate as a good acclimatization to then start a hike in the Huayhuash mountain range or in the white mountain range, it also serves as acclimatization to climb some mountains less than 6000 meters above sea level. Then we return to the city of Huaraz. End of our service.
